Kate Beckinsale’s Feet Punished

C’mon. You know you did the crank and yank to the leather-clad Kate Beckinsale in Van Helsing, then finished the job when she starred in Underworld and its follow-up, Underworld:Evolution. Even before that, there was opportunity for the surreptitious self-administered reach around when, subbing for Charlize Theron, Kate fulfilled our nurse-in-starched-uniform cravings in the otherwise undistinguished Pearl Harbor. And in Aviator, she regaled us with a version of Ava Gardner that was arguably better than the original. So we’re all agreed that the London-born Kate [albeit her being a chain smoker] is great. Right? After all, this is a chick that won writing competitions and went to Oxford where she studied French and Russian literature, so she has brains to go with those provocative looks. During the course of her acting career, it’s struck us, however, that Kate has successfully maximized male fantasy and minimized her eagerness to show it. “It” meaning, you know what, and the fact that we’re not likely to see Kate in an issue of Playboy any time soon. In other words, Kate’s always played a fast and loose peek-a-boo with our manly urges and continues to do so with this hip-hugging sashay into the past with the retro shoes for company. Not that we’re complaining, mind you, but even in the toe department, Kate remains a skimp and a steadfast tease. What little we gain from this photo, no idle nights will be spent conjuring what must be a full set of adorable piggies. But we’ll never know.. And for that, La Beckinsale must be punished. Suck on an “8,” Kate.
