Gwyneth Paltrow’s Feet - Thou Gettest a “9″

Probably more than scientologists, Ashkenazis do get around. We’ve seen it with Kate Hudson, and now we learn that Gwyneth Paltrow’s father, Bruce, is of the descent. Throw in some Quaker from her mother’s side, and you got an interesting continental breakfast going there. Raised in Santa Monica, Gwyneth, the winner of a Best Actress award for Shakespeare in Love, was an exchange student in Spain and later in college studied art history- an unfulfilled curriculum which prepared this refined actress for playing all the whack jobs and cultural weirdos you see on the screen. Remember her in the fat suit in Shallow Hal? Think Estelle Getty could have pulled that off? Needless to say, when it comes to playing chicks on the verge of the looney bin, no one convinces better than Gwyneth who co-stars as Huey Lewis’ estranged daughter in a movie called Duets. The fact that Lewis plays a karaoke singer gives us more reasons than none for running out to Blockbuster. And who could forget The Royal Tenenbaums? Proof enough that Wes Anderson should never be allowed near a camera again. But no one listened, witness The Darjeeling Limited and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. But how did we get on that subject? Oh, yes, after winning the big one from the Academy, even Paltrow admits that she made abominable career choices. As if that was even in debate. Dispelling rumors that she’ll star in a Kardashian-like reality show titled The Ashkenazis, Gwyneth’s heavily involved in breast cancer research. Judging from this photo in that V-neck number, Gwyneth might be trying to find sample tissue. Once engaged to Brad Pitt but couldn’t provide him with Korean children, Gwyneth’s also spokesman for Bean Pole International, a Korean fashion brand which originally launched under the name Tadpole but found the connect with an audience difficult to establish for whatever reason. In shoes from the Madam Olga dominatrix collection, Gwyneth surprises, actually, with a pair of sexy, beguiling feet. We’re Shakespeare, and we’re in love. Thou gettest a “9″.
