Eva Longoria’s Feet - Mucho Dinero

Having played a psycho on The Young and The Restless but better known for her role in ABC’s Desperate Housewives, Eva Longoria Parker, a former Miss Corpus Christi, is the daughter of Mexican-American parents. As a kid growing up in rural poverty, Longoria was taunted by her siblings who called her ‘la prieta fea,’ which means ‘the ugly dark one.” To sharpen her one-on-one intramural skills, Longoria went on to marry NBA guard Tony Parker who’s known in some circles as ‘el lighto basketballa handsoma’ which, translated literally means “the handsome lighter dark one who dribbles.” That union’s proved intriguing enough, but not so much as when Longoria, on an Oprah show not too long ago, hustled camera crews for a look-see at her family’s shitty living conditions. It’s not for us to make social commentary here, although we do, but shouldn’t have Longoria with all her mucho dinero been yanking her family out of said dirt hovel instead of exploiting it on national television? Just a thought. Maxim, which will declare coffee hot, has put Longoria on its list of babes, and Eva went on to break the ‘la prieta fea’ barrier with a rather undistinguished cinematic turn as a tight-assed FBI chick in the Michael Douglas film The Sentinel. Foot fanatics who want to see hints of Longoria flesh, however, are advised to freeze frame her nude ankle and calf scenes from Harsh Times. Apparently given a heads up about a prom night at Chuck E. Cheese, Longoria’s dressed for the occasion. And with footwear - oops, is that a shadow or a hint of an incipient varicose vein on her right shin? - that did Lindsay Price similar ill, [see review] Longoria, ‘la prieta toesa’, suffers the price, if you will, of fashion facsimile. Do the math. Two toes from ten leave you a “8″.
