Ashley Johnson’s Feet, Growing a Pain

Born August 9, 1983 in Camarillo California, Ashley Johnson is an actress probably best known for her role as “Chrissy” Ellen Seaver in the TV show Growing Pains. Except if you had seen Johnson’s pix from those early days you’d have evacuated cinder blocks wondering why nature tends to play nasty tricks on some of its children. Some outgrow the stigma of genetics run afoul, only in Johnson’s case, nature got even more impish with her growing pains and spun Ashley into a female equivalent of Owen Wilson, circa Meet The Family. True? You be the judge. Johnson later got to play Mel Gibson’s daughter in the 2000 comedy What Women Want. In real life, Mel Gibson’s daughter would probably be helping him nurse hangovers from his Sunday afternoon partying at Moonshadows in Malibu, but that’s not the role Ashley was to play. Eight years later, we see her in what could be mistaken for a two-piece lingerie combo, with Ashley adopting a modified Gainsborough’s Blue Boy stance to assist her in balance. Kind of like Mel Gibson at a police station. Shoes that only a harem girl could appreciate, is not the way to go with this getup only because it reveals the disturbing fact that the toes of Ashley’s right foot [with some overgrown nails to boot] are significantly smaller than the ones on her left. Lined up as they are, it could be an outlandish touch football game pitting the Brady Bunch against the Kennedys. That would be the best of all possible hunches. But not in this case. Ashley, you rate a “4″.
