Having gotten her professional start in a Duncan Hines chocolate chip commercial, Alyson Hannigan was some cookie back in her American Pie days. Under a flag of another color, this cute little redheaded riding hood had many wolves at the door. But, truthfully, Alyson, now as a brunette and with that smacked in the face with a big bag of ice look, the tea kettle has stopped whistling. Yet we remember fondly the days of you as the dorky lesbian sorceress pal of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And how you embraced the ultimate comedic cliché by wearing a fat suit in Date Movie. From huge to svelte, you met the man of you dreams, Grant Fonckyerdoder. Why can’t we come up with inspired witticisms like that on these pages and make the Hollywood big bucks? Probably because we’re too busy Fonckingyermoder. Alyson’s dad is a truck driver named Al Hannigan from “Missoura” where they’ve got all kinds of back woods adages like, “You wanna hunt with the big dogs you can’t piss like a pup.” Raised, obviously, as a hick, Alyson’s a graduate of North Hollywood High School and studied classical clarinet under the renowned Fazal Kolendreski. She played soccer until an injury in her early teens forced her into comedy. Yeah, we thought you’d be asking about the ink at some point or another. One’s got to do with tribal dolphins, the other is a japanese kanji, for luck and happiness. The very same ones worn by street walkers in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, no less. And while we’re all for saving dolphins, part of the deal is that Flipper doesn’t show up, ever, on the female ankle. Other than that, we’d be eagerly anticipating some Hannigan foot to fondle and there’d be obvious reasons for it. Anyways, good luck at the tattoo parlor, Alyson, and we hope you’re happy with that number “4″ we’re buying for you.
